The Best Dinner Party

26 August 2009 One Comment

If I invited you to a dinner party with the boss of your dream job, the captain of football team you support, the owner of the cafe you frequent every day, the CEO of the telco you’ve been having troubles with and your best mate who now lives in London… you’d come along wouldn’t you?

As most of you are aware, these experiences are happening every day on Twitter. It is taking down the barriers in accessing the people we look up to and the people we get along with.

So when I’m explaining Twitter to a newbie, I say  it’s not about…

“What are you doing now?”

Instead, it’s all about…

“Who are you talking to today?”

Hi Nathan, nicely put post. But how much of Twitter do you think is ‘Who are you talking to today’ compared to ‘Who are you following/listening to today’?
